Eastside's achievements
Working with over 200 third sector clients
We have worked with over 200 third sector organisations helping many build new revenue streams and sustainable programmes. We have raised over £45million in investment for our clients and helped a number merge together or form effective consortia.
Spark Programme
We designed and delivered the Spark Programme. This was a collaboration between the third, public and private sectors and included funding from Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG). This successfully developed and invested in social enterprises aiming to combat the problems of homelessness.
3SC (third sector consortia management)
Eastside in partnership with Social Investment Business has recently set up 3rd Sector Consortium (3SC) in order to help third sector organisations bid for contracts that would have been too big and out of their reach. We have helped them find ways to deliver the contracts more effectively in partnership with others. Eastside interim managed the organisation over its first 9 months and has been involved in bidding for many millions on pounds worth of government contracts. The organisation recently secured a Future Jobs Fund contracts, worth in total £25 million, which is currently delivering on behalf of DWP. The consortia now has over 350 third sector members.
Eastside Foundation Intern Programme
Eastside has run an intern programme for the last 4 years and has given direct project experience of over 50 young business professionals interested in making a career in the sector. Each internship is 5 weeks long and involves a programme of learning and direct work experience with clients. The aim is to further develop the programme with both private, public and third sector partners.
